• Do I need a referral?

  You do not need a referral from your specialist or GP to access a Nurse Practitioner. However, referrals are welcome to gain an understanding of your needs.

• How long are the appointments?

  Appointments will vary between 30-60 minutes. All new patient appointments are allocated 45-60 minutes. 

• How much is an appointment?

  Appointments range from $95-$210. Medicare rebates available for every appointment. 

• Can I claim Medicare or private health insurance for my appointment?

  Yes. Nurse Practitioner services attract a Medicare rebate. The rebate amount depends on the type of consultation. 

  • Initial appointments: Medicare rebate of $114.20 or $75.60
  • Follow-up appointments: Medicare rebate will be $51.25

  Private health insurance can be claimed for medical devices purchased such as a vacuum erection device or Restorex. A letter will be provided in support during the consult. 

• Are appointments bulk billed?

  No. This is a private billing clinic.

• Can I attend the appointment with my partner or family member?

  Absolutely! 

• Do you offer Telehealth appointments?

  Yes – distance is no longer an issue to accessing health care. 

• Do you prescribe medications?

  Yes. As a Nurse Practitioner, I can assess, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate. Prescriptions are provided in line with current guidelines and tailored to your individual health needs.
